How We Test High-Definition TVs
PC World Senior Test Center Coordinator Greg Adler explains the procedures and tools used for high-definition TVs. First, the Test Center calibrates the TVs for color, brightness, and contrast. Then a panel of judges views different media including Blu-ray Disc, HD DVD, and standard MPEG-2 for brightness, saturation, and artifacting.
