Der deutsche Komponist Robert Schumann wurde vor 200 Jahren geboren. Anlässlich seines Geburtstags führen die Düsseldorfer Symphoniker unter der Leitung des berühmten Dirigenten Christoph Eschenbach auf.Mit dabei der Weltklassepianist Saleem Abboud Ashkar. Robert Schumann hatte fünf Jahre in Düsseldorf gelebt und gearbeitet. 1850 wurde er dort Städtischer Musikdirektor. Wir wandeln auf Schumanns Spuren durch Düsseldorf.
