Sasol "Pride"
In the First of a series of Sasol and Springboks ad, the jupiter Drawing Room Johannesburg and Masters & Savant joined forces in the delivery, the Broadcast sponsorship adverts for the incoming tour and TRI-NATIONS.  Sasol’s sponsorship of the Springboks is well established, and the upcoming Rugby World Cup is even more opportunity to celebrate and communicate this powerful partnership of two iconic South African brands. Says Sasol's Group Brand Manager Bronwyn Watt: "We wanted to show Sasol's involvement in and commitment to South African rugby and our role as more than just a sponsor. The ad needed to build a sense of pride, belonging and patriotism and ignite a passion and desire to see Springboks succeed because the Springboks represent us as a country - they carry the hopes and dreams of the nation - they are OUR Springboks. And of course, never forgetting our brand in this partnership, the ad must give credibility and meaning to our payoff line of "reaching new frontiers" and our brand characteristics - alive, adventurous, always." The Jupiter Drawing Room team developed the creative premise of "what if the power of the Springboks could fuel the nation?" The concept really pulled the two brands together in a new way and the delivery of this concept needed to be equally compelling and had to push the boundaries of adverts created in the sports genre and truly deliver on reaching new frontiers. The team worked on combining the best of the real world and technology to create a hyper real environment that reveal the hidden power of the Springboks. The advert shows the energy generated by their Springboks, from their hearts down to their feet, when singing their national anthem before a game and how if we could harness this energy, it would light up the entire stadium for the duration of the game.
