曾蔭權：喬曉陽已回應泛民訴求 籲議員以大局為重
行政長官曾蔭權表示，政府提出的2012年政改方案是民主和進步的方案，認為大部份市民都希望政府能向前發展，他形容現時距離2017年普選行政長官和2020年普選立法會，只是「一步之遙、一念之間」。 對於全國人大常委會副秘書長喬曉陽的講話，曾蔭權認為，對方已經清楚闡釋普選核心內容，是保障每個人都有平等的選舉權，並且已回應社會人士，包括泛民議員的訴求，釋除他們對落實普選疑慮。 曾蔭權說，現時是重要時刻，呼籲立法會議員支持政改方案， 以大局為重，又說假如方案不獲通過，香港人會感到失望。
