Clearwire Network Expands By 21% in NYC Metro Area
Clearwire (NASDAQ:CLWR), Time Warner Cable (NYSE:TWC) and Sprint (NYSE:S) announced a significant expansion of the Clearwire 4G network and key capacity upgrades for mobile broadband customers in the greater New York City metro area. The service area has added coverage for an additional 91,363 people. Now, more than 11,927,000 people in the New York City area have access to Clearwire''s 4G mobile broadband network. This expansion represents new coverage since Clearwire''s initial launch on November 1, 2010.Clearwire (NASDAQ:CLWR) has a potential upside of 83.1% based on a current price of $3.61 and an average consensus analyst price target of $6.61.Clearwire is currently below its 50-day moving average (MA) of $4.22 and below its 200-day MA of $5.56. In the last five trading sessions, the 50-day MA has fallen 1.85% while the 200-day MA has slid 0.98%.
