"Ich schreibe und zeichne für alle, die mal fünf waren, noch Erinnerung daran haben und gern 99 werden wollen", sagte Friedrich Karl Waechter einmal und charakterisierte damit seine Zeichenkunst. Er gehörte zu den besten deutschen Satirikern. Das Museum für Angewandte Kunst in Frankfurt zeigt nun Werke des eigenwilligen Komikproduzenten.
