Libraries to Move Online
As the Internet is continuing to become a primary resource for information, it seems only natural that books and the information within them would also be on the Internet. Many companies and organizations including search engines are working with libraries to digitize their collections of books.WebProNews Reporter Abby Prince spoke to Google’s Gabriel Stricker, Brewster Kahle of the Open Content Alliance, and the Boston Library Consortium’s Executive Director Barbara Preece about their efforts with this endeavor.
