Key expectations of realty sector from Budget
Falling volumes, rising interest rates and tight liquidity – the pressure is evidently taking a toll on the real estate sector. Most developers want the Finance Minister to reinstate Income tax deductions under section 80-IB which were available till April 2008. They want tax breaks for customers paying interest on home loans to be increased further from the current Rs 150,000.
