Tweet Gaffe-prone Vice President Joe Biden dropped another clanger today after mixing up his left and his right.  The elementary school error came during the swearing in of a new Republican senator in Congress. Instead of asking Illinois Senator Mark Kirk to raise his right hand to say his oath, Mr Biden told the Capitol Hill newcomer to put that hand on the Bible and raise his left. According to the congressional rulebook, it should have been the other way round.
