World Music: Trigon, "Kaval’Coda"
(Moldova) Trigon have been making folk inspired jazz for years, and here, the Kaval (flute) takes center stage along with Anatol Stefanet’s dynamic viola work. The video takes us into the hard and messy labor of building a house with home-made mud and straw blocks. Yes, they still do that there, and wash it all down with a potent home brew.
