(4) 17-year old performs a daredevil act: she-steps off the wing of an airplane on to a rope ladder on another plane. (5) Italy's war commander, Gen. Armando Diaz, arrives in New York aboard the liner Guiseppe Verdi. Mayor Hylan confers the "freedom of the city" on the commander who lays a wreath on Theodore Roosevelt's grave.
