A Thin-Client Application Framework for Network-Centric Computing
A thin-client programming model enables application development in an environment that utilizes the resource and computation capabilities of any network-attached computer providing a service via the Internet. The key aspects of this model are that the client downloads application front ends from the network, that the client relies on services obtained from the network, and that services are bound as late as possible. Sandra Johnson Baylor presents a thin-client application framework designed to enable rapid and robust network application development based upon this thin-client programming model.
