While vacationing in Italy Dr. Christian "Christy" Nielsen (Robin Williams) accidentally meets artist Annie Collins (Annabella Sciorra) with whom he has an instant connection. They marry and have two children: Ian (Josh Paddock) and Marie (Jessica Brooks Grant).
