Artist Allan Wexler speaks about his piece, Gardening Sukkah, for which he received the Henry J. Leir Prize.  The sukkah—complete with retractable roof, gardening tools, Jewish ritual objects, and dining utensils—embodies a perpetual cycle of renewal, moving between uses without ever lying fallow.
