Police release 'intentional' hit and run video
CCTV:MAINE: Police in Westbrook are investigating a hit-and-run accident that may have been no accident at all. It happened Friday at around midnight. Police say a man driving a pickup truck jumped the curb and struck a man smoking a cigarette outside of the Millside Tavern. Surveillance video released by police shows the man talking with two other people and then being hit from behind. The victim, 37-year-old Kevin Peterson, was treated at the scene for some minor injuries and is okay. Police believe this hit and run was intentional. They say the truck clearly swerved in order to strike Peterson, and wasn't driving recklessly before or after the incident.
