Actor Jackie Chan had to publicly reassure fans that he is in fact alive and well after rumors of his death circulated on the web Wednesday.Rumors that the Rush Hour star suffered a fatal heart attack today at the age of 56 floated around online, resulting in a "RIP Jackie Chan" twitter trend.Chan took to his Facebook page to dispel the rumors, posting a statement that read: "Jackie is alive and well. He did not suffer a heart attack and die, as was reported on many social networking sites and in online news reports… Jackie is fine and is busy preparing for the filming of his next movie."A photo of the actor meeting with the Consul General of Japan on Tuesday in Hong Kong was also posted to his official website as proof.
