劉兆璋：「我以前是個工作狂，到1997年，我遇到人生很大的低潮，因為我中風，當時只得36歲，結果要做八次腦外科手術，失去了拳頭般大的腦細胞，也同時失去了左手左腳的活動能力，因此我只不能工作，沒有經濟收入，我的經濟和生活都起了很大的變化，我向來都有一個原則，就是在哪裡跌低就從哪裡爬起來，靠的是自己，原來有些東西不是金錢可以買到的，這就是健康，還有你的家和你愛的人，健康地、整整齊齊地生活下去，知足者貧亦樂，心中富有，如果知道這個原則，就會自自然然明白做人開心的道理，就是最寶貴的，也是上天賜給你最大的財富。」
