Deb’s Question
I have been on tribe for a long time and naturally was drawn to tribes such as reconstructed fashion and crafty vixens (among other great ones). Thanks to the knitters tribe, I learned how to finally end a scarf...that’s a whole other story. Anywho, when we found out the show was going to happen, I put up some posts in the reconstructed fashion tribe and the first response was from a woman named deb from toronto... "I'm interested in doing web television (not on crafty stuff but on environmental issues) but don't have the technical know-how, can you suggest a couple of resources to learn about it. Thanks in advance. Deb" This is such an important question! we are at an amazing point in the lifespan of television... the people, us, now have the ability to create our own television. we want real people and real situations, by real people and real situations. It is so exciting! no more news outlets run by corporate hacks! yea! There are some really great resources out there to help you learn about web tv or "microtv", as it is now so lovingly referred to... below are some links and a video response to deb's question. pc mag article ourmedia article jumpcut article brightcove you tube xoxox c Less[-]
