The Drupal community has adopted design as a core value in its software and this has rapidly changed the community in the past two years. We will evaluate and discuss the current state of design within the Drupal community.  This talk will focus on taking a more broad look at Drupal its design community and how initiatives such as the Drupal 7 redesign have built a greater understanding of design. State of design Mapping the current state of design within Drupal, its community, businesses and initiatives. We will take a look at a variety of design touchpoints that exist within the community and how we can improve them to create a greater and more rich design community. Process of designing Drupal core We will cover the principles and processes that were fundamental to the Drupal 7 user experience improvements. What are the unique design characteristics that we value Drupal for and what is the experience we are trying to create?
