Crisis reveals flaws in China’s economic model
George Magnus, senior economic adviser to UBS, discusses with former FT Beijing bureau chief, Richard McGregor, the "tectonic shifts" in economic power between west and east. He casts doubts, following the financial crisis, over China’s economic model and suggests India could even become global economic leader. George Magnus is author of the forthcoming book, 'Uprising: Will Emerging Markets Shape or Shake the World Economy?'.
