BAHRAIN: Third day of protests in Bahrain
A TV address by the King of Bahrain on Tuesday night was not enough to stop demonstrators taking to the streets for a third day of protest on Wednesday. Shi’ites are calling for reforms and more equality in their homeland. The royal family are Sunnis, as are many of those occupying the top jobs in the island kingdom. It's not the first time Shi'ites have stood up to what they say is outright unfairness, but after the uprisings in Egypt and TUnisia, their movement has gained momentum.
