Crew rows to raise money
The KU Crew team kicked off their 24-hour "Ergathon" today at Wescoe. This is the 10th annual Ergathon event. It's held to help the team raise money and gain support from students and alumni. All 24 members of the team will take turns rowing on a machine called an ergometer. The team is responsible for raising most of the money needed to fund it's rowing trips, which are held around the country. KU Crew usually raises between $10,000 and $20,000 per year.
