The US media largely acquiesced during the Gulf War: military censorship, press restrictions and repression of dissenting voices became the norm for over two months.  In short performance pieces, video artists express their desperation over the distortion of news. Don Rojas from the Amsterdam News looks at coverage in the African American community.
