We took the night boat out of Koh Pha Ngan and headed to Krabi. (Free accomodations right!) It was a tight squeeze on the boat, and we mysteriously stopped around 3am, to move about 30 passengers from our boat to another one. They asked 30 people to make the switch. As far as we could tell, we pulled up to another boat in the middle of the sea, and had the people walk the plank, so to speak, to make the switch. We think they did this because there were too many people on our boat and they would get into trouble from the police when they were checked at the port. Who knows!
