Microsoft May Release Windows Phone 7 in Japan by June 2012
Microsoft’s (NASDAQ:MSFT) Japan unit is looking to launch sales of smartphones based on the most advanced version of the Windows Phone 7 operating system in the country within the year through June 2012. The company has already released Windows Phone 7-based smartphones in the U.S., Europe and elsewhere in October of last year. Microsoft has a potential upside of 27% based on a current price of $26.03 and an average consensus analyst price target of $33.05.Microsoft is currently above its 50-day moving average (MA) of $24.94 and should find resistance at its 200-day MA of $26.07. In the last five trading sessions, the 50-day MA has remained constant while the 200-day MA has remained constant.
