Supermarket A&P Files for Bankruptcy
The Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company (GAP), better known as A&P, said yesterday it filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.  The move was necessary to fully implement its comprehensive financial and operational restructuring, the company said.
