「背割堤」のソメイヨシノが見頃 京都・八幡
京都府八幡市の淀川河川公園の堤防「背割堤」のソメイヨシノ約２５０本が４日、ほぼ満開となり、好天のなか、家族連れらが花見を楽しんだ。 背割堤は木津川と宇治川、桂川が合流する地点。約１．４キロの堤防の両側にソメイヨシノが植えられ、桜の名所として知られる。八幡市観光協会主催の八幡桜まつり（１〜１１日）は、約２５万人の人出を見込む。
