Good Morning. It’s Wednesday, July 13, 2011. At this hour, U.S. equity futures are higher. Overseas, the Asian markets advanced, while the European markets are up. Electronic Arts (NASDAQ:ERTS) announced an agreement to acquire PopCap Games, a leading provider of games for mobile phones, tablets, PCs and social network sites. EA will pay about $650M in cash and $100M in shares of EA common stock to be issued to certain stockholders of PopCap. Dean Foods (NYSE:DF) announced it reached agreement with the plaintiffs to settle litigation brought on behalf of a class of dairy farmers in various Southeastern states. Kinetic Concepts (NYSE:KCI) announced that it entered into a definitive merger agreement under which a consortium comprised of funds advised by Apax Partners, together with controlled affiliates of Canada Pension Plan Investment Board and the Public Sector Pension Investment Board, will acquire KCI for $68.50 per share in cash in a transaction valued at $6.3B, including KCI's outstanding debt.
