Post-Soviet Policy
The breakup of the Soviet Union and the end of the Cold War created new power relationships in international politics. Russia and other former Soviet States now play a different role in Europe, and have altered their relationships with the United States and NATO. The threat of nuclear war is no longer confined to the super powers, but has global dimensions. Are Major post-Soviet states still key players in international politics?
