Rock band 2 Vs. Guitar Hero 4
Hey everyone, Jimmy Wong here reporting for Console Zoo. On this update, we’ve got the question that's been going through everybody's minds. Rock Band 2, or Guitar Hero 4? If you haven't heard of either, chances are you've been living underneath a rock these past few years... or you might be deaf.   Never could play the guitar but always wanted to blast out the solo for Guns N Roses? Well, you can live out your rock star fantasies with the upcoming releases of Guitar Hero World Tour and Rock Band 2. Both of these sequels promise an incredible assortment of new rockin features and instruments to play the game with. But which one should you buy this fall? The original Rock Band was an immediate smash hit when it was released, allowing you to form a band with three friends and rock out on vocals, guitar, bass, and drums. The game also included an indepth world tour mode and an incredible set list with tons of weekly downloadable songs. The makers of Guitar Hero, not to be one-upped, quickly announced Guitar Hero World Tour, which aimed to improve Rock Band's formula. Here's a quick overview of what you can expect. The new drum kit features cymbal pads for a more realistic drumming experience. The new guitars look great, and come with a touch slider that gives more depth to how you play notes and use the music studio. The music studio is by far the most impressive part of Guitar Hero World Tour. The Music Studio allows you to literally build your own song from the ground up, play it in real time, and let the world hear it online. Plus, you can have four tracks simultaneously recording, so you can get that real band experience without having to invest in the real instruments. Other than that, Guitar Hero World Tour gives us the same things we got from Rock Band. Go solo on any instrument, or play with a full band with vocals, guitar, bass, and drums.
