Having kicked off the 24 hour www.Strxya.com FIFA 10 World Record attempt at a leisurely 10.09 am, the gamers were all in high spirits and a couple of them decided on the odd short break to relieve the parts that needed relieving.  However, as the mental and physical torment of the job-in-hand started to take its toll on the gamers, it looked for a moment like we might lose two more. Luke Harvey was gaming with his friend who suddenly announced he would be leaving at 9 hours in as his mum had reminded him he had to be back for work that day – he’d forgotten he had work! However, for Luke it was nearly game over as well as he had been given strict instructions that he was only allowed to take part in the challenge if he was accompanied by his mate. But a reassuring phone call from the organisers to Luke’s Mum ensured she was happy for him to continue on his own. As the night swept in and the station traffic died off www.stryxa.com handed round blankets to try and keep the gamers warm. With everyone well wrapped up with hot food and drink heating the inside, the team readied itself for perhaps the toughtest period of the World Record attempt - the graveyard shift.
