For two years, the COCKTAIL NAPKIN has been a video series dedicated to talking about various facets of creativity. Over the course of 2010, it has organically transformed from a simple video blog to a full-fledged interview show with some of the great minds behind things we enjoy on the Internet. As a result, the show is slowly growing out of its original skin. To alleviate these growing pains, I’ve been working to bring the COCKTAIL NAPKIN to the next stop in its evolution. As pre-production begins on Season 3 of the COCKTAIL NAPKIN, the format will change from simple video blog to a show comprised of interviews and segments with higher production value and interest for you, the viewer. This Kickstarter project is aimed toward making that goal a reality. Funds from this project will go toward purchasing microphones to make the proper shooting of interviews possible. Any additional funds beyond the desired amount will be applied towards lighting equipment for live segments. And, of course, the benefit doesn't stop there. Many, many creative video projects can be borne of this single round of funding. So, you see, for the price of a couple months' Netflix subscription, you could be contributing toward the creation of endless amounts of entertainment that also has the potential to educate and inspire.
