Pete (Richard Grieco) is desperate to outrun the mob after his girl, Francis (Tonie Perensky), witnesses a murder in Las Vegas. But things take a turn when they meet Jimmy (Wil Wheaton) and his sister, Clara (Lea Thompson), at The Nautilus. Is this a normal café in the desert — or a haven for crazies? Jimmy would like to ditch his place of business and maybe take off with Francis; meanwhile, Pete takes a liking to off-kilter Clara.
