寄居蟹換殼過程全紀錄
陸寄居蟹和蝸牛不同， 蝸牛一出世便附帶著螺殼，而陸寄居蟹則要找尋螺殼「寄住」，牠們所背的螺殼是不會成長的。牠們和蝦蟹等其他甲殼動物一樣需要經過不斷的脫殼才能成長，隨著 身體成長，便需要找個更適合的螺殼更換。細小的個體脫殼次數比較頻繁，大的個體脫殼次數則較少。
