Jobs are few and far between in northeastern Germany. In some parts of the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, unemployment is around 20 percent. That is why more and more Germans are heading east, to Poland, in search of jobs.Despite the global recession, the economy is booming especially in the area around the city of Stettin.
