Govt. making heavy investment in wind energy
With close to 80 percent of China’s energy supplied by cheap but heavily polluting coal, the government has laid ambitious plans to increase the production of renewable energies. From almost nothing a few years ago, China's installed capacity has doubled each of the last four years, and is now producing roughly 10 percent of the world's installed wind power.
