Closing Plenary
All information technology, but networking in particular, has improved so rapidly that all predictions of its impact on society have been lame, at best. Nonetheless, since that impact will surely increase, it behooves our community to try to anticipate the effects of the technology we are creating and deploying. In his talk, Dr. Wulf will raise some global issues that he believes arise from ubiquitous broadband networks and that the networking community is in a unique position to help society examine and resolve.
