北沢防衛相、中国・梁光烈国防相と会談 海上での新たな連絡メカニズムの確立で一致
北沢防衛相は、シンガポールで4日、中国の梁光烈国防相と会談し、東シナ海で不測の事態を回避するため、海上での新たな連絡メカニズムを確立していくことで一致した。梁国防相は、「東シナ海における日本の艦船、航空機の活発な偵察活動で、日中間の衝突の危険がある」として、日本側に慎重な対応を求めた。これに対して、北沢防衛相は「中国側に危険を及ぼすような行為は行っていない。中国の航空機が、日本の艦艇の極めて近くを飛行する事案が発生している」と反論した。そのうえで、中国側に再発防止を求めるとともに、東シナ海で不測の事態を回避するため、海上連絡メカニズムの早期確立に向けて努力することで、中国側と一致した。
