C-SPAN coverage of the State Dinner for German Chancellor Angela Merkel included a discussion of Chancellor Merkel’s visit with Charles Kupchan.  He focused on U.S.-Germany relations, the European debt crisis, NATO operations in Libya and tensions throughout the Middle East. He also responded to viewers calls and electronic communications. Throughout the program various scenes of the official visit, as well as the evening's dinner toasts were shown.
