Jury-Präsidentin Isabella Rossellini las vor der versammelten Prominenz ergriffen einen Brief des im Iran zu sechs Jahren Haft und 20 Jahren Berufsverbot verurteilten Regisseurs Jafar Panahi vor. Furchtlos beschreibt Panahi, der ebenfalls in die Jury eingeladen worden war, darin seine Träume.
