Vaughan, Ontario
On November 29th, voters in Vaughan, Ont. elect a new Member of Parliament to replace Maurizio Bevilacqua, who resigned to successfully run for mayor. This riding on the northern outskirts of Toronto has been consistently Liberal since 1988.  In 2008, Bevilacqua enjoyed a plurality of over 8,000 votes. Running for the Conservatives is former Toronto Police Chief and OPP Commissioner Julian Fantino. The NDP’s candidate is Kevin Bordian. The Liberals are counting on Tony Genco to keep the riding red.
