Spring rain in our backyard in El Dorado, Arkansas, captured on tape 04-04-08 with my Sony HVR-V1U using the standard lens. It was shot at 24p, edited in Final Cut Pro.  I have always loved rainy days. They wash clean the air and nurture living things that make the world more beautiful. The camera lens reveals aspects of a rainy day that often go quite unnoticed. I hope viewers will watch this video and then study with greater interest the next rain. This is my first upload to Vimeo or any online video sharing site. Most of my video work is focused on my twin 7 yr old granddaughters, church events and work on Habitat for Humanity projects. Thanks to Jon Winnoker and his books on Curmudgeonry for introducing me to the proper meaning of curmudgeon. I cannot claim to be one yet, but I describe myself as a curmudgeon-in-training.
