Sony’s New Hi-Def Digital Cameras
Sony is aggressively promoting high-definition televisions to consumers, and soon it will have a range of digital still cameras to match. New Cybershot cameras, due out in March and April 2007, will generate a signal that can output a high-definition photo on an HDTV. An optional cable for HDTV output will cost about $40 U.S. Models include the eight-megapixel Cybershot T100, available in the U.S. for $400 in March.
