Entertainment translates as hard work for the German board game manufacturer Schmidt. Their classic game Mensch aergere dich nicht (also known as Ludo or Parcheesi) is now 100 years old and has sold over 70 million editions. But in the digital age, the industry is changing: new ideas are needed. These are supplied by an external company, leaving Schmidt to concentrate on production and marketing.
