Public Record Do they march for democracy?On February 10th, 2011, the University of Ottawa, in collaboration with its Graduate School of Public and International Affairs, held a panel discussion on democracy and the current political tensions in the Arab world. The panel, which included Robert Fowler, former Canadian ambassador and foreign-policy advisor and Peter Jones, former senior analyst for the Security and Intelligence Secretariat of the Privy Council of Canada, discussed the recent events in Tunisia and Egypt and if we are witnessing the beginning of a wave of Arab democratization.
