Sarkozy govt insists pension reform necessary
Franois Chrque, Secretary General, CFDT Trade Union says in June we already had a good turnout, here we have a very good turnout which is quite rare in our country, especially on a Septemeber 7th, and that shows that the pension problem is still there, that people live an injustice and they want to change this reform. Meanwhile in parliament, the bill was being discussed. Sarkozy and his government insist a pension reform is necessary and could save up to 70 billion euros by 2030.
