ganze Sendung vom 09.07.2011: Der Agrarmarkt entwickelt sich zum Milliarden-Monopoly: Firmen und ganze Regierungen reissen sich um nutzbare Landflächen in Entwicklungsländern. Die einen nennen das "Land-Grabbing" oder "Neo-Kolonialismus", andere sprechen von "Investitionen" oder "Entwicklungshilfe". SCHWEIZWEIT ist unterwegs in Sierra Leone und begegnet Menschen die ihr Land und damit ihre Lebensgrundlage an die Genfer Firma Addax Bioenergy für ein Butterbrot verpachteten. Auf diesem Land soll ab 2013 im grossen Stil Zuckerrohr für Biosprit angepflanzt werden. Natürlich für den europäischen Markt.
