風季來臨，市民除了要留意路旁樹木有倒塌危機外，更要當心高掛在大廈外牆的廣告招牌。據統計，現時本港約有19萬個招牌，主要集中在市區人多擠迫的街道上，萬一在繁忙時間塌下，後果不堪設想。過去兩年，屋宇署雖已清拆約9000個危險或非法豎立的招牌，但搖搖欲墜的招牌仍然隨處可見，尤其是安裝在舊式唐樓外牆的招牌，部分更日久失修。這種鬧市角落的計時炸彈，屋宇署應該如何拆解？政府曾提出設立「招牌監管制度」又可否杜絕危險招牌。專業工程師及油尖旺區議會議員為大家詳細探討。
