Pull it In, Stretch it Out
Get the most out of your stretches by engaging your abdominals.  Remember the muscles and connective tissue in your back are directly opposed to the muscles in your abdominals. When you CONTRACT the muscles in your abs, those on the opposite side will EXPAND and STRETCH. So practice some ACTIVE stretching and focus on pulling those abs in and you’ll get a deeper and more LENGTHENING stretch!
