Documentary clip about Sin-Itiro Tomonaga (1 minute)Dr. Sin-Itiro Tomonaga was presented with the Nobel Prize in Physics by the Swedish ambassador to Japan, Mr. Karl Fredrik Almqvist, on 10 December 1965. The other Laureates in Physics were awarded their prize at the ceremony in Stockholm, but Dr. Tomonaga, who was recovering from injuries he got in a recent fall, was given a special ceremony at the Swedish Embassy in Tokyo, which was attended by members of the Japanese Royal family.
